After more than a decade working with tradies, Matt couldn’t help but notice a consistent trend: everyday tradies didn’t have the time to run their businesses efficiently. Too many were overworked, stressed, and drowning in paperwork

Matt wasted no time launching Spud, he and his team are on a mission to give tradies back their free time by helping to optimise their businesses and provide administrative support.

Founder

After gaining experience in both the NZ and Australian markets within small to medium companies Rebecca expanded her knowledge base moving to London.

Looking after the finance and accounting for large property portfolios across Europe before returning to NZ to become financial controller for NZ for a construction recruitment company.

Customer Experience and Marketing Manager

With 8 years experience in the trade marketing industry, Hayley came on board in January 2025 to support with all things marketing and customer experience.
